Compassionate Therapy for Life’s Transitions
Helping you adapt to change, chronic illness, and life after injury or diagnosis with therapy in Texas
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward?
Maybe you're adjusting to a life-changing diagnosis, injury, or chronic condition. Or perhaps you're a parent watching your child struggle, unsure how to best support them. You might be feeling disconnected, stressed, or facing a shift in your health or abilities.
It’s easy to think you should be “handling it better,” but you’re not alone—and you don’t have to do this on your own.
I work with children, teens, and adults to foster self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and rebuild confidence. Reaching out for support is a courageous step, and I’m here to help. Let’s connect for a free consultation and see how we can work together.

Hi, I'm Emily
I specialize in helping individuals adjust to life after injury, diagnosis, or chronic illness. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) in medical and community-based neurological rehabilitation, helping individuals adjust to life-changing disabilities.
Through this work, I saw firsthand how creativity, movement, and meaningful activity could help people reconnect with themselves and others. Whether through art, music, nature, or movement, I learned that healing doesn’t just happen through words—it happens through experience. That understanding continues to shape my work as a counselor today.

Many of my clients feel overwhelmed by a new diagnosis or life change and feel unsure of what might come next. My goal is to walk alongside them as they navigate the uncertainty.
Providing psychotherapy in Houston, I will work collaboratively with you to explore your feelings, create space for new meaning, and help you discover your path forward at your own pace.
